An adorable game with a sweet storyline! The puzzles were entertaining, and I love that you can play a mini game for a one-page walkthrough if needed. My only issue was that some spots were very particular about where to tap, so if you're fat fingered (like me), you might find yourself occasionally wondering if the game glitched on you or you're missing something. A quick Google search revealed I wasn't alone and just hadn't tapped in the exact right spot.

Really cool game concept, fantastic art. There's one really glaring issue however, which is that the controls just kind of suck. This was pretty clearly designed with PC in mind first, which makes some things you need to interact with on screen very small and hard to notice. Sometimes pinpoint accuracy on touches is required for things. This makes "just tap on stuff until something actually happens" a frustratingly common occurrence. Also the robot should be able to walk full speed at any size.

I purchased Machinarium as part of a mobile Humble Bundle many years ago, and again on PC, but I just bought it again on Google Play because I wanted to leave a review. It's still one of my favorite adventure games and I've been playing them since the dawn of the genre. The hand-drawn art is timeless, the puzzles can be quite challenging and the delightful story is told in a way that anyone can enjoy. It's a masterpiece.
