About this game

“Mazu” is a side-scrolling platform game in which a young shapeshifting girl named Mazu embarks on a journey through a danger-infested forest filled with peckish predators, unfriendly terrain, and coin-hungry hunters.

Shape-shift Mazu into a mouse, otter, or fox to swiftly avoid obstacles and navigate your way through the forest. Which transformation will you choose?

Mazu was designed by Christine, a winner of Google Play’s Change the Game Design Challenge. In partnership with Girls Make Games, Christine worked with GMG’s development team to bring her game to life.

I like the concept. It can be moved to the SD card, which is great. It's a massive file for such a short game. I hope they reduce the size as they add levels. I hope it gets more complex, too. The underwater level seems to basically just be a matter of not touching anything, which can be resolved by not going underwater. I'll try and check back in a few months or years. I want to see what happens.

I absolutely love the concept you have here, however my only real issue I have with this game are the controls. Most of the time when I hit the jump button she won't do anything, and I'm not sure if the joystick is really the best way to have players control the character, because in this early release it seems really touchy. Sometimes I accidentally will move my thumb a little too far up or down and she will start walking the other way. Other than that, this game has the potential to be great in it's final release, and I will certainly play it in it's entirety. Tell the girl that came up with this game to keep up the good work ;)

even for an early access the game is too short, the controls weren't bad but they weren't good either and the gameplay is kinda fun but i died only once because i didn't know a fish can kill me and when it did it took me 3 seconds to know that i died because there was no animation i just kept going down in the water also what's the point of playing with the little girl when she can't swim and the other animal is faster on the ground
