I don't ever write reviews, but this app is truly outstanding when compared to its competitors in terms of functionality, flexibility, and VALUE. Pushbullet and MySMS are the two competitors that come to mind in recent memory. I didn't like the user interface of MySMS, and I felt that pushbullet was too expensive and used too much battery in the background. I felt that the one time fee was a steal for how well it works. I haven't tried the Windows 10 app, but only because the chrome extension is excellent without any additional app installation. All in all, if this app continues to be supported and continues to function, I will continue to use it! Thanks!!

Was hoping that Join could function as my replacement for Pushbullet, which I've been looking to rid myself of for quite some time. Enter Join. It's very useful when it works, but as others have noted the problem is it isn't very reliable. In my own case, this mostly applies to notification mirroring---sometimes they will be mirrored and sometimes they will not be---but I also have issues sending texts occasionally. If it was more reliable this would be an easy 5-stars.

I was looking for a cheaper better Pushbullet, and something that overcame the recent bugs in Google Messages using MMS over WIFI. What I found was essentially an enhanced KDE Connect, but still quite rough around the edges. I paid for it quickly based on the reputation of Tasker, but after a while had buyer's remorse. I haven't given up yet -- hoping that developers will straighten it out soon. THE (ALMOST) GOOD: Using your own Google Drive as the synchronization queue is quite a clever hack for devices beyond the local LAN, but has shortcomings. The app flows well, and is very familiar if you've used KDE Connect. There's a clever self-diagnostic. There's a lot of power in the advanced features ala Tasker. THE BAD: While remote SMS messaging works occasionally, it's is deficient for MMS -- it doesn't identify which party sent a message in a multiparty message, and MMS messages rarely send correctly via my S8. So you end up pulling out your phone anyways. It's also not fully functional when you detach it -- it loses track of what your "current" Chrome tab is to share the link. THE UGLY: The messaging scheme put in place to synchronize devices doesn't always work right. It hangs up synchronizing and sometimes won't synchronize or push commands at all. Asking for special firewall rules is a really terrible user experience, even for those who are so inclined. SUMMARY: At this point, it's okay for a free power app, but not polished or up to par for a pay app at that price.
