The app is good engenral, it can do everything. Rating of 1 solely on the snapshot feature. The feature is as bad as everyone is complaining, I just wanted to add that it recorded the phone use while it is still locked, and stored in the console. One good thing, the app let me choose that I wasn't the driver, not cool. Another thing is the hard break, really 7 mph counts as 2 events, and 8 counts as 3. Some time it is needed to avoid running the red light or hitting someone that just cut u off.

The Snapshot feature is a safety issue. It incentivizes breaking less, and now I second guess myself when I do require hard braking to avoid collisions. It also doesn't give you a chance to justify the false reports it gives, like it saying the driver used their phone if the passenger actually used their phone or if hard braking was used in the course of defensive driving to avoid a collision. It also doesn't let you go back very far in its history to change when you're a passenger.

The Snapshot portion of the app is terrible. It is unreasonably sensitive to "hard" breaking, which has unsafe side effects like incentivizing the running of borderline yellow/red lights. It also doesn't allow you to change the status of a ride from "driver" to "passenger" after a few days have passed, which causes major issues for those who use ride-sharing apps and public transportation frequently because of the bad marks given for phone usage and "hard" breaking.
