Someone recommended this app to me and I'm so pleased they did. I use it to make notes of podcasts etc when I'm out and about, which I then transfer to my PKM. One of the most useful features is the ability to take notes when offline. The speech to text works really well on this app, which is really important to me. The developer is apparently an "open source enthusiast", which makes him a bit of a hero, in my eyes, and an all-round good egg.

Markor --- The best mobile note taking and text editor app I've *ever* come across. The notes are stored as **actual text files** in your file system and -- *as a competent file explorer* -- you can sort your notes easily from the app. This is great for transfering files between devices. It also can render a variety of text files formats, like **markdown** so that you can write plaintext stuff that looks really cool.

Wow. Nice app. I just started so I am not familiar with all the bells and whistles, but it really seems to work very well for my uses. My old text editor, Writer +, begin to malfunction and get jittery while doing cut and paste. This app really seems to do the job. Thanks, Devs!
