Can't recommend this enough as a self-hosted music client (used with jellyfin in my case). Truly an amazing app. Can do everything you'd ever want and more. The level of customization is almost overwhelming, but I suspect, like myself, most users drawn to self-hosted music clients like Symfonium prefer customization to restriction. Development is extremely active with a highly responsive dev. I posted a feature request today and had a thoughtful response in under an hour. 10/10.

I have a huge mp3 collection, which I normally listen to by shuffling albums. I also use smart playlists to play the least recently listened-to albums, to cycle through the collection. I tested every player with these features, and this app is the best. It scans my library for updates quickly, the interface is pleasant with extensive customization, and the dev is responsive and updating the app. I use it every day with no complaints, so I definitely don't mind paying for the app to support it.

I put this app aside while trying orhers for my Subsonic server because I was trying to prefer open source, but there's no contest, this is the definitive app for your music server. I bought it before even finishing the trial! Casting support, playlist support, offline support... I could go on. The others don't hold a candle. The only BIG feature missing for me is WearOS support. I'd love to take my music offline when I go running.
