FAU-G Pre-Registrations ‘Over Four Million’: Ncore Games

Made-in-India action game FAU-G has garnered more than four million pre-registrations on the Google Play Store. Developer Ncore Games revealed this fact to IGN India in an interview. The studio crossed the four million mark last week on January 14, 2021, Ncore Founder and Chairman Vishal Gondal tells us.

“We've crossed over four million pre-registrations,” says Gondal. “And this is with not allowing some of the low-end devices to register.”

Previously the company revealed that FAU-G crossed a million pre-registrations in its first 24 hours of being listed on the Google Play Store which at the time made it the game with the highest pre-registrations in India and that was on December 2, 2020. Crossing four million is no mean feat. Gondal believes that FAU-G’s pre-registrations could increase further.

“I will say that we will cross five million at least. Could be higher,” he says. “But at five million I don't think so any other game, at least in India has got that kind of pre-registrations.”

In addition to this, Ncore Games hinted that support for those aforementioned low-end devices is on the way as well.

FAU-G is coming to iPhones, iPads and Android devices on January 26, 2021, celebrating India’s Republic Day. The Android version can be pre-registered on Google Play. The iOS version hasn’t made its way to the App Store yet, but will be available with the game’s release.

Stay tuned to IGN India as our full interview with Ncore Games goes live this week. The developer touches upon what exactly we can expect from FAU-G at launch and in the months to come.
