Habit Hunter uses a special technique, called Gamification, which will turn your goal, habit, and task to an RPG game. In the game, you'll become a hero finding ways to win monsters and save people. The more task you complete in your real life, the stronger the hero will be.

So far I'm really enjoying this app. It's fun and helpful with being able to set reminders for each habit. My only thought is it would be even more motivating if there was some sort of penalty for not completing tasks! Or even extra rewards like earning pets or companions to accompany the hero on their journey. I've only had this app for two days, and I can update my review when I've had more time with it.

It's got potential, but like many games it's all about the micro transactions and the game is designed to make you need to spend to move forward. For someone with ADHD like myself it doesn't give me the reward I need to motivate me to want to continue, it wants me to spend money get the reward and many of us already have impulse control issues. Game just takes advantage of us and in my opinion, the game just isn't worth it. Look elsewhere.

Hi, thanks for your comment. Habit Hunter is completely free, you won't need to spend anything but to do your habits daily and daily to get more points for your hero. When your hero reach enough point like 10, 20... it will level up and get stronger, then you can beat monster on the map and get coins to purchase items. That's game motivate points.

I'm really enjoying this app so far. I've tried a couple RPG style habit helping apps, but a lot of them require friends in order to do anything besides collect coin, and others are so straight forwards I don't feel like I'm actually doing anything game-like. I like the music, the presentation, and organization of tasks and habits... I would say my only nitpick is it seems to run a little slow, but it could be my older phone. I plan on purchasing premium soon :) really enjoying this!
