About this app

UCCW is no longer maintained. Please consider switching to Widgets by You, a new and improved widget maker.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=in.vasudev.makecustomwidgets

Make your own widgets, just the way you like.

Install countless skins from Google play or use 'uzips' (fully editable UCCW skin files) made by your friends.

UCCW is a WYSIWYG (What-you-see-is-what-you-get) editor for widgets. You can tweak the layout of objects, fonts, images, shapes, Analog clocks, battery meters, weather and more.

Features
Widget objects - text, shapes, images, weather, graphic (progress), analog clock etc.
Text objects - calendar, weather, battery info, Gmail, location, next calendar event, tasker variables
Graphical objects - barcode, bar, pie
Special objects - Week bar, Series clock
Text mapping to override text values

Hotspots
Set actions that fire when a user clicks on the widgets. Customize their location and size.

Sharing skins
Want to share your awesome skins with the world? Share uzip files or create apks right from within app to upload on Google play.

Note
UCCW needs to run in the background to update home screen widgets. Android Oreo and above need a persistent notification for background processing.

I avoided using anything but buzz widget fot a while, for it's simplicity. The location doesn't work on buzz 99% of the time, so half the capability is gone.. I am familiar with KWGT, but it is a bit intimidating and complex compared to buzz. The power it has is endless, and UCCW has most everything KWGT has, with the simplicity and ease of use of buzz widget.. I'd give it 5 stars if positioning stuff was a bit easier, sizing the background, and dragging and dropping was implemented better. Will update review, once I become more acquainted.

I really enjoy using this app because I'm really particular about how my home screens are themed, and I want everything to match. I've been able to create some really awesome stuff through uccw. This latest update, however, seems to have bugged out the stock weather fetching on my phone, as it's only accurate once in a while. For example: Currently it's saying it's 91 degrees and snowing. I assure you that it's not.

Amazing customization options available! This is one of the very few apps that actually allows you to customize your widget interface completely. My issue, on a Galaxy S10, is that the widgets stop refreshing on their own, making my weather widget absolutely worthless. I have to manually remove the widget and place it back on there to get it to update, something that should definitely not be happening, even after verifying that the built-in battery saving options are not applying to UCCW. 😔
