There are no voice controls for youtube music in the car. I can't tell it to play a specific song anymore. It will just tell me it can't play media but can show me results that I can click and play. What the heck Google? The whole point of the assistant is hands-free! Edit: The steps in the provided article were absolutely useless for my issue. It's not hard to understand that it's not working like it used to. The Google Assistant should not have an issue integrating with YouTube Music. Fix it!

It was working perfectly every day... Now, after a recent update, (when it changed from the 3 colored dots to the colored bar), the app crashes everytime I push the button. An app that's completely broken is useless. Update: it's gotten worse, it doesn't even activate now, no matter what I do. Reinstalling didn't help. The article didn't help. The Community forum ignored me. I need Assistant to set medication alarms, and now I can't do that!! Update: Assistant crashes when I try to send feedback

It doesn't work at all. "hey google, play a song by Alice in chains", pauses current song, and just shuts off or plays the same generic song over n over... It doesn't work, it's been how many years? You can't even set it up since it's a live service feature, instead of being on your actual phone. It's just spyware, extremely disappointed. Or it will pull up graphic content when all I ask is a damn YT song. Unacceptable and disgusting
