About this game

Use real detective skills to unravel a thrilling mystery in one of the most immersive and original detective games on Android.

Use VigilOS, an advanced operating system used by detectives, investigators, and secret agents all over the world, to investigate suspects, send emails and texts, make phone calls, hack into companies, and crack codes as you work to solve the mystery surrounding a man's disappearance.

But be warned: uncovering the truth won't be easy. This is a lot more challenging than your average murder mystery game. Your new tools won't be enough; you'll have to use your thinking skills to come up with some out of the box solutions. And be careful: this case is more than just a simple crime...there's more at stake than the first glance suggests.

People are counting on you.
Good luck. You'll need it.

Features:
• Examine real websites to find clues and discover key evidence in your investigation.
• Play in real time: characters will respond to you throughout your day.
• Leverage a variety of realistic in-game tools, including email, a messenger app, a forensic database, and terminal
• Learn a thing or two about real-world hacking
• Rich interactive story with several optional secrets to uncover
• Type what you want when responding to characters — no predetermined text choices!

If you're a fan of escape the room games, alternate reality games (ARGs), or hacking simulators, you're going to love this game.

This is the most involved and realistic puzzle/detective game I've played for mobile, and I've played most of them. I love how it integrates real-world info, urls, etc. The story gets a bit unwieldy, but it's far more interesting than most other games of it's kind. The other characters in the game actually have some depth and feel like real people. The game is challenging without being too difficult.

Flashbacks to Majestic and the era of text-based. This is an incredible ARG with smart writing, solid puzzles, and a really good flow. There's always a next step (if you know where to look) and the player's curiosity is repeatedly rewarded. Puzzles start out simple and ramp up to more challenging, break-out-your-scratch-paper code breakers. Looking forward to Case 2.

Fantastic game...exactly what I've been looking for. I can't wait for more! As others have said, there are some things that aren't quite intuitive...but, obviously we finished the game, so nothing was that bad! I didn't like how some of the files required me to install multiple apps to use- or just genuinely didn't function properly on my phone. I think next time all I would suggest is maybe making it a bit more standalone, although, having to have a word document open at most times did encourage me to keep notes..maybe there can be an even mix. (On that note, hey devs, there's a grammatical error in the first email of the final chapter-- in case it wasn't meant to be there. Most of the intentional spelling errors/breaks in conversation/bad grammar made it feel more human, but that one kind of broke it for me.) I LOVE that you're able to type your own responses in-game...and that sometimes going off script actually gets you a proper response..it's a nice break from the (a) or (b) dialogue of other games. Probably the most challenging game of this sort I've come across...so if you're looking for a brain teaser, look no further! It was perfect. 10/10 would play again.
