About this app

Health Connect by Android gives you a simple way to share data between your health, fitness, and wellbeing apps without compromising on privacy.

Health Connect is in Beta. We are excited to share the product with you and are working hard to continue adding partner apps and new improvements.

Once you've downloaded Health Connect, you can access it through your settings by going to Settings > Apps > Health Connect, or from your Quick Settings menu.

Get more from your favorite apps. Whether you're focused on activity or sleep, nutrition or vitals, sharing data between your apps can help you better understand your health. Health Connect gives you simple controls, so you only share the data you want to.

Keep your health and fitness data in one place. Health Connect stores the health and fitness data from your apps in one place, offline and on your device, so you can easily manage the data from your different apps.

Update privacy settings in a few taps. Before a new app can access your data, you can review and choose what you want to share. If you change your mind, or want to see which apps recently accessed your data, find it all in Health Connect.

Absolutely terrible. Can't get data to sync reliably. It's super frustrating and not worth the time to try and figure out. I hope my tracking app will link directly with Samsung Health/Google Fit again instead of trying to use this. If not, I will have to find some other workaround, which is disappointing since it worked perfectly before with the direct link.

1st thoughts 1. App is not visible on my app library. I can find the app in the Play Store to OPEN it. None of the screens in the Play store appear on my phone. 2. I easily connected My Fitbit app to My Fitness Pal to track steps in MFP. However, I have yet to see anything. 3. I realize this is in BETA, but so far I am not impressed that ut actually works. I will be uninstalling it if noting changes.

I personally hated the user interface of Google fit, of course is very important the ability to connect to other apps and share data, but why not making it awesome to look and use it too? At least copy some of the look of the other apps like Samsung Health or others. Health Connect is also a disappointment like Google Fit, they better get their creativity soon before they replace the ugly app for a horrible one. As a software engineer that I am you guys need better UI that works.
